Forest Canopy Shawl - Noro Silk Garden version

I finished the Forest Canopy Shawl in Noro Silk Garden Lite - pretty fall colorway. Its a gift for my mom's good friend. I knit it thinking good thoughts and hope that they stay strong. I started this shawl at the NETA SPA last February and finshed it on August 17th during my ride to our summer place in New Hampshire. I purchased beads to put on the scalloped edge, they are cute little bears - I need to count the scallop points still - I only have 39 beads and need to spread them out...

I got here from Michelle Can's site. I met her on Flickr. Though I don't knit, I appreciate the skill and art~! This design stopped me in my tracks. It is the most beautiful I think I've ever seen! (and I live in a place that has beautiful colors right now; I read that you've been. Virginia. I had to mention that as our leaves are so pretty now)
Hope this isn't too long, it's the first time I've commented to a blog. I can't get over these colors.
