No I have not fallen off the face of the earth, and yes I am working on my sock-swap socks. Actually I have a completed pair that I think might be good for my pal. They are the japanese feather that I made last time again, this time in blues and greens kroy sock yarn... They are fraternal twins, and I hope that is ok with my pal.
