Yesterday was the perfect day to go to the NH Sheep and Wool at the Hopkinton Fairgrounds. The weather was wonderful, the vendors had great things, my friend found a new craft - I think the name is locker hooking (rug making with yarn and roving) and I bought yarn for my sockapalooza pal's socks. I am rethinking the pattern, not sure if the monkey pattern can be knit in dk weight - need to look at the pattern repeat and see if it translates. My pal may just get wonderful "marshmallow" socks. I bought a skein of very pretty "marshmallow" from decadent fibers, its in my pal's colorway and its so soft and pretty. But time will tell.
